We must hold Washington accountable to responsibly spend your tax dollars.
You earn your paycheck and Congress needs to be a careful guardian of our tax money. Sadly, that has not been the case. Past Congresses have spent too freely in Washington—the federal government spends 3.6 Trillion dollars but only takes in 2.3 Trillion. Throughout my time in Congress, I have opposed pork and pushed for lower taxes on families and small business. Out-of-control government borrowing is driving up interest rates and crushing the middle class, all the while China reaps the benefits of our deficit spending. This needs to change. In Congress, I am working to stop spending money we don’t have on programs you don’t want.
