Area Mail Processing Consolidation Meetings
USPS announced to the office of Congressman Steve Pearce that they will be holding meetings for public input on Area Mail Processing feasibility studies. USPS has conducted studies to consider moving the mail processing operations in Roswell to Lubbock, TX. Also in question are moving the Socorro mail processing to Albuquerque, moving the Truth or Consequences operations to Albuquerque, and moving the Alamogordo AMP to El Paso, TX.
These meetings are open to the public, and constituents are encouraged to attend and share their concerns with the USPS.
