CONGRESSMAN PEARCE TO CO-HOST “OUT OF THIS WORLD JOB FAIR” IN ROSWELL APRIL 9TH

April 1, 2014 (Roswell, NM)—Congressman Steve Pearce is teaming up with employment agencies throughout New Mexico to host the “Out of This World Job Fair” in Roswell, Wednesday, April 9, from 2-6 PM at the Roswell Convention and Civic Center.  In addition to Congressman Pearce, job fair partners include: New Mexico Workforce Connection, ITS Quest, Inc. ENMU-Roswell, Goodwill, SL Start and the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

“Jobs continue to be my primary focus,” Congressman Pearce said. “New Mexicans are blessed to have so many employers looking to hire new workers. I urge anyone looking for employment or attempting to change their career to attend next week’s job fair in Roswell. The most important thing we can do is help people help themselves.”

“I would also like to thank the organizations and companies attending the job fair,” Mr. Pearce said. “These companies are in need of qualified employees to keep up with growing demand for their goods and services. They are taking their time to come out, and hire people throughout the state. ”

The job fair is free to attend but pre-screening is suggested through the New Mexico Workforce Connection office in Roswell. Those interested in attending should call 575-624-6040 to register.  Some of the participating employers include:
