PEARCE STATEMENT ON LIBYA ATTACK THAT KILLED FOUR AMERICANS
Washington, DC (September 12, 2012)— Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement today condemning the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and the death of four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens:
“My heart goes out to the families of Ambassador Stevens and Embassy staff murdered during this tragic event. Sadly, their lives will be forever changed because of these cowardly and disgusting attacks. Their lives and service to our country will not be forgotten.
It is heartbreaking that this attack happened on a day when our country remembered and honored those who gave their life for our country just a little more than a decade ago. I will continue to pray for all of the lives affected by this attack.”
