PEARCE WELCOMES WOUNDED WARRIOR FELLOW TO ROSWELL OFFICE
Roswell, NM (January 29, 2013) – Today, U.S. Congressman Steve Pearce welcomed Eric Espinoza to his Congressional Staff as a fellow under the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program.
Espinoza served in the U.S. Army for ten years, including service in Iraq and Korea. He has spent the last five years as a military contractor, working as an instructor at the McGregor Range Complex at Ft. Bliss. Espinoza will use his expertise in military and veterans’ issues to aid Congressman Pearce in policy formation, and in serving his active-duty and veteran constituents in New Mexico. Espinoza will also serve as a field representative, attending events and meeting with constituents in the eastern part of the district on behalf of Congressman Pearce.
The Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program provides two-year fellowships within the House of Representatives, with a possibility for full-time employment at the conclusion of the fellowship. The program was established in 2008, and has provided employment opportunities for dozens of wounded or disabled veterans.
