CONGRESSMAN PEARCE VOTES TO REPEAL THE BLM PLANNING 2.0 RULE

Congressman Steve Pearce today voted to overturn the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Planning 2.0 Rule. The Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) allows local governments to coordinate with the BLM in the federal land use planning process. The BLM Planning 2.0 Rule was a last minute effort by the Administration to impose additional regulations on the planning process, ultimately limiting local community input.
