On August 17, 2013, I will be hosting a Women's Forum in Las Cruces. Women are increasingly the decision-makers in our families, our communities, and our government, and it is important that they have the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn, and grow together, for the benefit of New Mexico and of our nation.
This Forum will take place on Saturday Morning, August 17, 2013, at the Las Cruces Home Builders Association Meeting Hall, 2825 N. Main St. Women of all ages are invited to attend! Registration begins at 8:00am, and the forum will start at 8:30am. If you're not in Las Cruces, you can watch the event live online, and you are invited to participate remotely through social media or email!
What: Women's Forum, hosted by Congressman Steve Pearce
Where: Las Cruces, Las Cruces Home Builders Association, 2825 N. Main St. (Or, participate online!)
When: August 17, 2013, 8:00am-12:00pm
Who: All New Mexico Women are invited to attend, free of charge.
Experts will provide informative panel discussions that will prepare women to lead productive healthy lives for them and their families. Panels, led by experts in the community, will focus on Health and Wellbeing, and Financial Planning--topics requested in a series of roundtable meetings with women leaders in southern New Mexico.
I look forward to productive and informative discussion, and I will continue working closely with the female leaders in our communities to discuss their ideas, concerns, and priorities.
